This calendar is filled with playful dog portraits by me and delicious homemade recipes by Stefania Manetti designed for your pooch. The recipes are easy to prepare and will give you ideas about which items are in season and how to use them to prepare a fresh and tasty meal for your dog. We hope the adorable doggies and recipes featured in the calendar bring joy to you and your pup throughout the year.

Recipes
By Stefania Manetti

Stefania is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 15 years of experience in the field of human nutrition and wellness. She grew up in Italy and became an adoptive Californian in 2005. Her dog Dante is her biggest joy and of course, she loves cooking for him. Stefania is especially happy when she can create meals with the same ingredients she uses for the family, always making sure these are safe and appropriately prepared for her four-legged bestie. 

Notes: Stefania Manetti is not licensed to provide professional nutritional advice for animals, and she is sharing recipes as a doting dog mom with general knowledge about canine nutrition.

A big thank you to all the stunning models and proud dog parents! To prepare for the shoot and to get to know the dogs better, I am always eager to learn more about my models before the actual photo session. I received so many interesting insights from the pet owners about their pups when I asked them:

What does your dog love…?.

  • “Pasta loves fooling people. If her hair isn’t pulled up, it can be hard to tell which is the front and which is the back. My husband one time accidentally had an entire conversation with her rear end.”
